On the set for "John Oceguera for Congress"
This year, our politicians seem to be fighting even harder than usual to gain our votes!

Regardless of how my personal political beliefs lie - the truth is, I am a Publicity Whore!! And when I heard about the opportunity to be a part of a commercial that was going to air on television all Campaign Season long - I said Hell Yea!!

To the left, is a picture of me as John Oceguera's Stand-In on the set of his recent commercial. Being someone's Lighting Double may not be all that exciting, but what is worth noting is that my Grandfather used to be a Lighting Double for Former New York City Mayor Ed Koch on the popular show The People's Court.

It must run in the family!!

To see the new video, click below. To see ME - wait until the 20th second of the 30-second commercial.
You can tell how Great of an Actor I am, because I am the only one who is smiling and clapping while this guy is talking!!

It's been a pretty sad couple of days here on Earth.

Neil Armstrong - our First Man on the Moon - recently passed away. This American Hero was 82 years old.
It's pretty nice that at least Neil was alive to witness the Curiosity Rover landing on Mars. That must have been pretty exciting for his old pioneer spirit. Another hero worth noting is Sally Ride. The First Woman in Space also left us earlier this month.
After losing Armstrong & Ride, space certainly feels a little emptier.

Although, this Curiosity Mars Rover - along with the announcements of future space missions, makes it just as exciting as it ever has been before. Without these great pioneers, American Space Travel would not be where it is today.

And if that weren't bad enough ... there is even more bad news for the Armstrong Family.

Recently, Lance Armstrong was accused of using Performance Enhancing Drugs and was stripped of all his medals from winning La Tour de France. He was so distraught with the loss of his Uncle, that Lance decided to not fight the claims.

(Factual)

Hopefully, at the funeral they played "It's a Wonderful World" by their cousin, Louis Armstrong.

I'm very excited for my weekend in Arizona!

It's roughly 110 degrees here in Las Vegas, so I'm headed to Phoenix where it is actually DRIER & HOTTER!!

Just outside of Phoenix, I'll be telling jokes at Stand Up Scottsdale this Wednesday & Thursday (August 8 & 9th) at 8 p.m.

Scottsdale is kinda the Jewish part of town - but AZ is going to be even Jewier than usual this weekend, because I'm also attending the 99th Annual Alpha Epsilon Pi Convention right up the road.

AEPi's 99th Annual Convention
Throughout the week I will be with Alpha Epsilon Pi - The Jewish Fraternity  - and I will be Educating & Celebrating and Schmoozing & Boozing!!

I'm very excited to speak to my Brothers and talk to them about Leadership & Recruitment (especially the guys here in the Southwestern United States).

Next year, the Fraternity will be turning 100 years old!! Can you imagine a Frat guy who's 100 years old ... he'd do Beer Bongs of Prune Juice.

The 100th Convention will be held in New York City in August of 2013. Next year, we'll see if I'm able to make it - but I figured if my Bro's were just down the road from my house, that I should come party with them!
