I think it is important to be Optimistic about the Apocalypse (as stated in my original post, Here).
Each moment is important, and as the time slips away it only becomes more valuable. We need to make it a priority to spend it with loved ones who make us Happy.
Even after December 22nd, 2012, there will still be life. There may be survivors and they will need to continue to have the same outlook - TIME IS PRECIOUS!
Plus, even if the World Doesn't End on that Day, will any of us really be that shocked?? I mean, we never accused The Mexicans of being good at Math. If this was the Chinese Calendar than I would already be hiding in my old Y2K Bunker.
Also, according to the Mayans - December 21, 2012 does not actually represent "The End of The World" ... it is supposed to signify "The End of An Era." And if you take a good look at the world around us today, you'll realize that An Earth Rebirth (heh, I just thought of that!) could definitely be a Good Thing.
Another item worth mentioning, if the World does end on the predicted day, that means 2012 WILL have a Chanukah ... and WILL NOT have a Christmas!! Ha Ha!!
But, the point is, whether or not we are able to Party into the year 2013, do yourself a Favor and start enjoying Life NOW!! You never know when the world might implode ...
